CAT 2025 Results: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has released the CAT 2025 final answer key today, and the results are likely to follow soon. Each year, over two lakh candidates appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) seeking admission to the Indian Institutes of Management and other top business schools across the country.

While the IIMs do not officially publish a list of CAT toppers, several high-scoring candidates over the years have publicly shared their academic and professional journeys. Although most pursue a management degree, few take alternative academic routes or move into corporate roles, entrepreneurship, or mentoring.

Here is a year-wise look at notable CAT high scorers from the past five years and what they are doing now.

CAT 2024 toppers Apoorva and Dhatri

CAT Topper 2024

In CAT 2024, Apoorva Rajadhyaksha emerged as the only woman candidate to score a perfect 100 percentile. A graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT Bombay, she is currently enrolled in the MBA programme at IIM Ahmedabad for the 2025–27 batch. She has prior experience in student leadership roles and a summer internship in supply chain at Unilever.

Another high scorer from CAT 2024, Dhatri Mehta, secured a 99.99 percentile. She also graduated from IIT Bombay in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is pursuing her MBA at IIM Ahmedabad. Her professional exposure includes a summer internship with ITC Limited, where she worked in the Indian Tobacco Division on process and data analysis projects.

CAT 2023 topper: Kumar Sai Vishnu

Kumar Sai Vishnu scored 100 percentile in CAT 2023, after having scored 95.6 percentile in CAT 2022. He completed his BSc in Statistics from GITAM, Visakhapatnam, and is currently pursuing an MBA at IIM Calcutta. As part of his academic programme, he has also completed a management internship with FinIQ Consulting.

CAT 2022 High Scorer: Parul Arora

Parul Arora secured 99.93 percentile in CAT 2022 after completing her BTech in Computer Science from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar. She pursued her MBA at IIM Ahmedabad as part of the 2023–25 batch. During her management studies, she was selected for the Mahindra Leadership Program, where she interned with Mahindra Finance. She is currently working as a Strategy Analyst at Accenture Strategy & Consulting, based in Gurugram.

Adit Sanjanwala scored 99.9 percentile in CAT 2022 after completing his BTech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat. He went on to pursue an MBA at IIM Calcutta and was part of the 2023–25 batch. He is currently working at Zomato as a Generalist, handling supply chain management responsibilities across Blinkit and Hyperpure operations.

CAT 2021 High Scorer: Soham Katkar

Soham Katkar cleared CAT 2021 after graduating in Computer Engineering from K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai. He completed his MBA from IIM Calcutta between 2022 and 2024. He is currently working as an Associate Trading Platform Consultant at FinIQ Consulting. During his academic journey, he was also involved in student activities and short-term internships in teaching and digital revenue roles.

CAT 2021 High Scorer: Chirag Gupta

Chirag Gupta appeared for CAT 2021 after completing his graduation from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. He pursued his MBA at IIM Bangalore and is currently employed as an analyst at American Express. His role involves work related to credit models and data analytics, and he has previously interned with Amazon.

Multiple-time CAT high scorer: Maruti Konduri

Maruti Konduri is among the most prominent names associated with CAT performance, having secured 100 percentile in CAT 2019, 99.99 percentile in 2020, and 99.97 percentile earlier in 2008. An alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad, he is the co-founder of Cracku, a coaching platform for CAT and other competitive exams.
