The officials of the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB), Patna on January 29 conducted a review meeting for the board exams 2024. The meeting was held through video conferencing with all the Senior Superintendents of Police/Superintendents of Police and all the District Education Officers at the Chief Secretariat Building, Patna.
Aamir Subhani, Chief Secretary urged officials to continuously monitor the conduct of Intermediate and Matric annual exams 2024. Senior officials have been directed to visit the examination centers while the exams are being conducted, and proper supervision should be practiced.
KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, directed officials to resolve any problem related to infrastructure before conducting the examination. He said that many works are being done by the state’s Education Department with the aim of strengthening the infrastructure in schools. It was also directed that the appointment of invigilators for conducting these examinations should be done in such a way that studies in schools other than the examination centers are not disrupted.
Additionally, this year, there will be a provision of videographers at all the examination centers and it will be ensured that they are present at the examination centers on time. Also, all the personnel and officers deputed at the examination centers (except the center superintendent) will not be allowed to carry mobile phones. Even the magistrates and senior officers deputed at the examination centers should not enter the examination centers with mobile phones.
Adequate number of police personnel at remote/ sensitive examination centres will be deployed, including women constables. “There should be a large number of deputations, so that the work of frisking can also be done by them at these examination centres without any delay,” the official notice stated.
