The Bihar School Examination Board Patna (BSEB) on March 31 announced the application dates for Class 10 result scrutiny and compartment exams. The Bihar board scrutiny is for those candidates who are unsatisfied with the recently declared Bihar board 10 result and want to get their copies rechecked to improve their marks, while the BSEB compartment exams are for those students placed in the compartment category.
The BSEB Class 10 scrutiny application link and compartment exam application link will open on April 3 and continue till April 9. The BSEB compartment exam results will be announced by May 31. The details of the compartment exam dates will be announced later, BSEB said.
Bihar board Class 10th result this year has seen an overall pass percentage of 82.91 per cent. This is a 1.87 per cent points increase from last year 81.04 per cent. A student must secure 30 per cent to pass the Class 10 matric exam.
Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar board
Step 2: Click on the designated scrutiny or recheck link
Step 3: Enter details including roll code, roll number and registration number
Step 4: Login using the system-generated application ID
Step 5: Choose subjects for scrutiny, or rechecking by clicking on the boxes in front of each subject
Step 6: Click on the ‘fee payment’ option and pay the scrutiny fee using credit card, debit card, or net banking
To apply for the BSEB scrutiny process, the students will also have to pay a fee per paper.
This year, as many as 4,52,302 students have obtained first division, while 5,24,965 students have obtained second division, and 3,80,732 students have got third division.
