Assam TET 2024: Results out, document verification next

The shortlisted applicants will have to attend the State Mission Office, Samagra Shiksha, Kahilipara for verification of their original documents/certificates

The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam on October 17 announced that the results of the TET-cum-Recruitment Examination (TCR) 2024 for the posts of postgraduate teachers (PGT) and graduate teachers (GT). The Assam TET 2025 results were announced at 10.30 am. The verification process will be held from October 29 to November 1, as per the name and group.

Candidates will have to login by entering their application number and password used while filling up of the forms at the time of applying for the posts. The results of the candidates declared to be successful are provisional and subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria as prescribed in the Advertisements and veracity of the documents and declarations made by the candidates. The Director of Secondary Education, Assam will not be responsible for any typing/ printing mistakes, the Directorate said.

The shortlisted applicants will have to attend the State Mission Office, Samagra Shiksha, Kahilipara for verification of their original documents/certificates as per the list/group/date and time mentioned in the official website of Samagra Shiksha, Assam — ssa.assam.gov.in. Candidates are requested to bring one set of photocopy of documents/certificates for submission to the verification committee.

The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) Assam, originally scheduled Assam TET for December 29, 2024, but held on January 19. This year, the recruitment aims to fill 8230 vacancies for the TGT while 1487 seats for PGT candidates.

The exam was held for 150 marks with paper I. The visually impaired candidates got an additional 20 minutes. Candidates having 60 per cent marks in the exam will be considered to be passed and for the reserved category candidates, the marks required are 55 per cent.
