Assam HS Results 2024 Updates: 88.64% pass, results at ahsec.assam.gov.in

Students can also apply for rechecking of their Assam HS 2024 result online through the official website -- ahsec.assam.gov.in. The AHSEC result applications for rechecking will be accepted after two days from the day of result declaration.

Students who have qualified can now apply for UG programmes.

The Assam board Class 12 result is out. The overall pass percentage this year in all the streams is 88.64 per cent.

As many as 25,437 students got 1st division in Assam board HS science results today. While 18,201 students are passed in the second division, as many as 5,549 students have passed the Assam HS exams 2023 in the third division. Of the 54,552 students appearing in the science stream, a total of 49,256 qualified taking the pass percentage to 90.29 per cent.

As many as 41,133 students got 1st division in Assam board HS arts results today. While 66,408 students are passed in the second division, as many as 69,890 students have passed the Assam HS exams 2023 in the third division. Of the 2,01,089 students appearing in the arts stream, a total of 1,77,434 qualified taking the pass percentage to 88.24 per cent.

The ahsec.assam.gov.in is not active yet. Students can meanwhile register at education.indianexpress.com to access and download the Assam board Class 12 result.

AHSEC will also provide the students with the facility to obtain the photocopy of HS answer scripts. Students who have appeared in the Clas 12 Assam board HS exams this year can obtain it by filling an online application form at the official website -- ahsec.assam.gov.in. The application form for obtaining the photocopies of answer sheets will be opened after 10 days.

The Assam board Class 12 result will also be made available through that Android App 'Upolobdha'. The Assam board HS result app can be downloaded directly from Google Play Store.

In the commerce stream last year, a total of 20,417 students appeared. Of them, 5,254 students got the first division, 6,486 got second division and 4,505 students got the third division.

The Assam government announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 boards will merge into one and will be called the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB). Currently, it is the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) for Class 10 and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for Class 12, which will now be combined as ASSEB.

The Assam board HSLC results 2024 have already been announced on April 20. The overall pass percentage in Assam HSLC stood at 75.7 per cent. 

Last year, as many as 3,42,869 students registered for the Class 12 HS Assam board exams. While 2.72 lakh students registered for the arts stream, 47,485 were in the science stream and 20,907 in commerce.

The overall pass percentage for the Arts stream was 70.12 per cent last year. In commerce and science, it was 79.57 per cent and 84.96 per cent respectively. The Vocational stream result was 85.61 per cent last year. 

To be considered Assam Class 12 exam 2024 qualified, students will have to mandatorily score a minimum of 30 percent marks in a subject and aggregate.

The official website to check and download the Assam board Class 12 result is ahsec.assam.gov.in. In addition to the AHSEC website, the education.indianexpress.com will also make the Assam board HS result link active. To access the Assam board Class 12 result from education.indianexpress.com, students will first have to enroll with their contact numbers.

Step 1: Visit the official websites - ahsec.assam.gov.in, resultsassam.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage click on the result link.  

Step 3: Enter your details like name, date of birth and roll number or registration number. 

Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Save and download the Assam HS 2024 result for future reference. 

The Assam board HS result date and time is May 9 at 9 am. The AHSEC 2024 result date and time has been announced by the Education Minister Ranoj Pegu.

AHSEC conducts the HS exam for four streams – Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational. While they declared the final exam results last year on June 6, 2023, this year they are announcing the marks in record time.

Assam HS 2024 exams were conducted between February 12 and March 13, 2024.

Assam's Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced the AHSEC HS result date and time from his social media handle 'X'. As per the post, the results for Class 12 board exams will be announced on May 9 at 9 am.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will on May 9 morning release the higher secondary or Class 12 results. Once the AHSEC announces the result in a press conference, it will be available at the official AHSEC website — ahsec.assam.gov.in.
