The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) posts under the Forest Department. APPSC Forest Officer 2025: What is the selection process? The selection process for APPSC Forest Officer 2025 will be done in multiple stages. Firs stage includes a Screening Test, which is an offline qualifying examination consisting of multiple-choice questions aimed at shortlisting candidates for the next stage. Those who clear the screening test move on to the Main Written Examination. The Main Written Examination is a computer-based test divided into three parts: General Studies and Mental Ability, General Science and General Mathematics, and Essay Writing. Candidates who qualify in the main exam are then required to undergo a Physical Measurements Test (PMT) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), where their physical standards and endurance will be tested as per departmental norms. Finally, candidates who pass all the previous stages will be called for document verification, during which they must present their original certificates and supporting documents to confirm their eligibility before final selection.
