IBPS PO 2016: A recruitment notification by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the post of Probationary Officers (PO)/management trainees in public sector banks has been released on the official website of the IBPS.

Candidates will be selected through a preliminary examination. Those who clear the prelims round will be called for the mains exam. The registration can be done online from July 26, 2016. The last date for the candidates to register themselves is August 12, 2016. Candidates can submit their filled in application on www.ibpsexam.org.

The sixth edition of the IBPS’s recruitment drive will have the preliminary exam, followed by the mains exam. Those who clear the mains exam will then be called for the interview round.

Eligibility: Graduation from UGC recognized university or equal qualification.

Age limit: 20 – 30 years.

Important dates:

Prelim exam: October 16, 22 and 23, 2016

Prelim exam result: November 2016

Mains exam: November 20, 2016

Interview: January – February 2017

Provisional allotment: April 2017
