Zagade promises Sule funds for devp work

Municipal Commissioner Mahesh Zagade on Friday gave an assurance to Baramati MP Supriya Sule that the civic body would make the necessary budgetary provisions for various development works,including sufficient water supply. Sule was accompanied by party leaders Anil Bhosale,Dilip Barat,Nilesh Nikam and other party corporators. Part of the PMC area including Katraj,Sinhagad Road and Kothrud is part of Baramati lok sabha and as well as Khadakwasla assembly constituency.

However,MNS MLA Ramesh Wanjale who represents Khadakwasla in the state assembly had to return empty-handed as his scheduled meeting with Zagade got cancelled.

In the meeting with Sule,Zagade assured that all development work will be speeded up and necessary provisions will be made in the next civic budget for completion of the various pending projects. The NCP MP demanded the civic body to keep her inform on the progress of the work in every two months.

The meeting with Wanjale that was scheduled at 3 pm was postponed to 4.30 pm as the municipal commissioner was at a civic function to be attended by minister Ajit Pawar. The MNS legislator made it on time but had to return back without meeting Zagade due to his unavailability.
