The Deputy Director of Education (Pune region) Suman Shinde has registered a case against Yuva Sena,the youth wing of Shiv Sena,on charges of using criminal force against a government employee after they staged a gherao against her during the ongoing Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
The Deccan Gymkhana police said
about 15 Yuva Sena activists led by leader Kiran Sali had gone to meet Shinde on Wednesday afternoon at Shamrao Kalmadi High School,the venue where the CAP is currently going on.
Senior Inspector (SI) Manohar Joshi said the activists sought action against a few colleges where capitation fee was being charged.
She [Suman told them that the students who were asked to pay the fee should register complaint. Upon this they staged a gherao and obstructed work, said Joshi.
