Youth commits suicide

Mangesh Sudhir Kulkarni (20),of Kothrud,was found dead on Monday at his residence in Kothrud. Police found a suicide note from the house.

AD Walimbe,assistant police inspector with Kothrud police station,said,“When his mother returned home,she found his body hanging from the hook meant for ceiling fan in the kitchen. In the suicide note,Mangesh had said that he wascommitting suicide because of one of his friends who stays in a nearby building. We have sent the body for postmortem and meanwhile a probe is on.”

The family stays in Mahananda Society on Paud Road,Kothrud. “Mangesh was was studying for Class XII privately from Jog College,Walimbe said.
