No Dostoyevsky or Marquez for this lady; she can sit and read one comic book after another for hours together. A source close to her claims that she loves not just the wit and slapstick humour in the comics,but also the element of mystery. So if Indian filmmakers ever feel ‘inspired’ to bring Tintin to the big screen,they know whom to consult.

Given how all parties got so heated up over the Chetan Bhagat versus 3 Idiots controversy,we would’ve expected another shouting match to take place when the topic came up at the recently held Star Screen awards. Hosts Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor asked the producer of 3 Idiots,Vidhu Vinod Chopra,about the most embarrassing thing he’d ever done. VVC admitted that it was the memory of losing his cool at journalists and yelling at them to shut up that made him cringe in embarrassment. This includes not just the cast and the crew,but also his four legged co-actors — the horses,camels and elephants. We’re already aware how close Salman had become to his steed Lakshmi during the shooting of the movie,but now we hear that beefy Khan even had a soft-spot for the pachyderms on the sets. He went so far as to feed them himself and pet them. What does PETA have to say about this now?
