Vedika,Adwait win cadet TT titles

It was a good day for top seeds as Vedika Bhende and Adwait Brahme beat their respective opponents to win the Le Meridien TT tournament organised by the Poona District Table Tennis Association and held at the Deccan Gymkhana tables on Tuesday.

In a match that went down to the wire,top-seeded Brahme defeated second seed Anuj Bhave in five sets 3-2. After going down 10-12 in the first set he bounce back with a 11-3 score in the second. He went down 6-11 again in the third set but won the fourth 11-9 to make it two sets all. The decider saw him edge past his opponent 12-10 . In the girls section top seed Vedika Bhende beat her opponent Ujwala Gaikwad 6-11,11-6,6-11,11-7,to win the title.
