The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has said that it will resume bus services to Madhya Pradesh from November 13.
MSRTC had stopped plying buses to MP from October 28,after six of its buses were impounded and crew members detained and fined by local police authorities in Indore. Maharashtra government had shot a letter to the MP government stating that it would not run the buses in MP until it was assured of full co-operation from the local administration.
MSRTC said Rajan Katoch,Principal Secretary,Transport Dept of Madhya Pradesh,in his reply extended full co-operation and also instructed local administrators including the district collectors,police authorities and Regional Transport Authority (RTO) to cooperate. Following this written assurance from Katoch,MSRTC has decided to resume its services.
