Acuminate Consulting & Technologies Pvt Ltd has introduced a programme,SKENPRO (Skill Enhancement Programme),to raise the employability of IT graduates and enhance their career growth.
SKENPRO has been specially designed to cater to industry requirements and to upgrade the skills and abilities of aspirants, said Amar Wadekar,founder-director of Acuminate Consulting and Technologies in a press conference on Saturday.
It has been observed that there is always a demand for right candidates in the industry,irrespective of whether there is a boom or a slump. Despite the fact that there are a lot of qualified candidates available,this demand is not fulfilled,as most of them are not industry-ready. SKENPRO is designed to channelise the efforts of these candidates in the right direction, said Uday Oak,director of the company.
Acuminate offers a two-tier skill enhancement programmes technical modules and soft skill modules. Candidates need to clear an aptitude test to join this programme. On successful completion of the programme,candidates are placed in various IT companies. The candidates would be given all the support they need,including stipend,counselling and mentoring to help them carve out their success path, said Nandu Kulkarni,director of the company.
