Three-day seminar on global issues

A Three-day seminar to explore the New Options for the World will be organised by students of the Flame School of Communication from January 27-29.

A Three-day seminar to explore the New Options for the World (NOW) will be organised by students of the Flame School of Communication (FSC) from January 27-29. The students will make presentations on their own assessments on the critical issues facing the world and seek views of eminent personalities. Senior journalist Dileep Padgaonkar,Shiv Sena MP and journalist Bharatkumar Raut,former bureaucrat Arun Bhatia,artist Revanta Sarabhai,filmmaker Mahiema Anand,sports journalist Ayaz Memon,veteran politician Ratnakar Mahajan and environmentalists Dr Parag Mankeekar,Parimal Choudhary,Laxmi Narayan and Vineet Diwadkar will participate and present their views on the various issues.

“The seminar will be held from 2 pm to 6.30 pm at the FLAME School of Communication at Lavale. The first day will be devoted to the topic Challenges to Indian Polity,” said FSC dean Achyut Vaze.
