Three arrested for stealing vehicles

The Loni-Kalbhor police under Pune rural jurisdiction have arrested three persons for theft of 14 two-wheelers.

The Loni-Kalbhor police under Pune rural jurisdiction have arrested three persons for theft of 14 two-wheelers over a period of past some months from places like Nashik,Ahmednagar and Pune.

The accused have been identified as Amol Manohar Achari (22) of Kopargaon,Ahmednagar,Rameshwar Masake (28) from Ranjangaon and Pravin Shinde (28) of Lonikand. The arrests have been made after a tip off from informants.

Achari was picked up from Kopargaon while Masake was taken into custody from Lonikand village. “We have seized 14 motorcycles and two cars from them,” Garud said. The three had stolen the vehicles from Nashik,Shirdi,Ahmednagar as times using duplicate keys.” Garud said,“They used to sell the bikes and cars.”
