The city recently got its first open art gallery – Art Hub – at Grubshup,Law College Road. This new concept will allow an artist to exhibit his/her work completely free of cost. And while this will enable artists, both amateurs and well-established ones,to sustain their creative pursuits,it will also bring art within the reach of buyers as the works will be at substantially lower prices. Through the month, there will be three slots of 10 days each – two slots for artists with considerable seniority followed by a slot solely dedicated to amateurs, hobbyists, art students and the like. So if you got a flair for painting, you now have a place to show off your creativity.
