Man kills self,son in Talegaon village
A 30-year-old man allegedly set himself and his four-year-old son on fire at his residence in Talegaon village on Saturday morning. Police suspect the man to have taken the extreme step as a fallout of some family dispute. Police have identified the deceased as Ankush Ramchandra Pingale,who worked as an electrician and his son Yogesh.
Mahadik wins silver medal in 5 km walk
Manish Surendra Mahadik clinched silver medal in the 5 km walk,in the under-17 category at the recently concluded athletics meet conducted by the Zilla Parishad and the education board of the Pune Municipal Corporation. The athletics meet was held at the Baburao Sanas athletics stadium.
