Labour contractor murdered
A labour contractor,Santosh Janardan Walke,was allegedly murdered on Friday. Walke was also the head of Khed taluka youth wing of a party. The suspect is Rajendra Anant Bhosale. Sushil Kadam,police inspector,Chakan,said the suspects reached Walke’s house with other men damaged trucks and murdered him.
Two die in accident
Two persons died and five others were injured when their Indica car hit a truck that had slowed down near Khalapur toll booth about 75 km from Pune on Friday night. The two who died on the spot are yet to be identified. The injured people have been admitted to a hospital in Panvel.
