No clue in boy’s suicide case
Almost a day-and-a-half after the alleged suicide of a 14-year-old school boy in Pimple Nilakh,police are trying to figure out the reasons behind it. Padmesh Jadhav was found hanging from the ceiling by the maid at 9.30 am on Friday. Padmesh was the only son of his parents. His father Mohan Jadhav is an engineer,while his mother is a schoolteacher. Shantaram Tayde,senior police inspector with Sangvi police station,said after they handed over Padmesh’s body to his family members,it was taken to their native village in Kolhapur for last rites. “Padmesh’s friends have told us that he was good at studies and this not being the exam season we can rule out the exam stress angle,” police said.

Brothel sealed in Budhwar Peth
A brothel in Budhwar Peth area was sealed by Faraskhana police after it was found in the 200 m radius of a public place. The action was taken after receiving approval to the proposal from the offices of the commissioner of police and the district magistrate. Faraskhana police had rescued a minor girl from a brothel on the first floor of Sonabai wada in Budhwar Peth on February 18 this year. Police had also arrested a woman who used to run the brothel and a man who had rented the space for the same.
