‘The Masters of Today & Tomorrow at Affordable Prices’ – that’s how the invite described the event,and that’s just what it turned out to be. Established and upcoming artists from across India donated their masterpieces to Concern India Foundation for their annual show of Indian art – Art for Concern. Held at the O Hotel on Thursday evening,the exhibition saw Pune’s art enthusiasts browsing through the array of works on display and purchasing their favourites. Artists like Akbar Padamsee,Dhiraj Choudhury,Sachin Jaltare,Gurcharan Singh,Anjolie Ela Menon,Suhas Roy,Prafulla Dahanukar,Babu Xavier,P N Kurlekar,Mayur Kailash Gupta and others showcased their artworks. The proceeds of this show will be used by the NGO for its various grassroot social activities.
