‘The Crystal Castle’,’Melting Frescoes’,’Medieval Mystery’ and ‘Through the Windows’ may seem like names of rides at an amusement park. But on Sunday,June 26,these terms defined the themes of the annual fashion show put up by 29 students of International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) at Hotel Pride,Shivajinagar. The show was choreographed by Pooja Singh and featured garments on themes that had been designed by Manish Goenka, faculty at INIFD. On display were one-piece and knee-length dresses, short vests and antariya dhotis and long shirts paired with brocade shorts. Apart from the ramp walk, there were belly dancers, whose performance received a chorus of cheers from the audience.
