Art exhibitions and music performances will take centrestage this week.

Art

Strokes in black and white a group show by artists is taking place from Oct 10 to Oct 18 at The Renaissance Art Studio,Pashan Road.

Paintings of Anand Bekwad will be displayed at Darpan Art Gallery,Patrakar Nagar Lane till October 11,from 11 am to 8 pm.

An exhibition of paintings by artist Somnath Hore is on display till October 7 at Bavaria Motors,BMW Showroom,Camp.

Modern landscapes by Ravi Songirkar titled Magic Scapes will be displayed at Bliss Art Gallery till October 24 from 9 am to 6 pm.

Matruka-Rupa: The Mother Images is an exhibition put up by varous artists like Uday Bandivadekar,Pandurang Tathe,Raju Sutar,Vaishali Oak,Sandip Sonavane,Pramod Riswadkar,Vikram Marathe,Ajay Joshi and so on. The exhibition will be on till October 8,from 10.30am to 8.30 pm at Waves Art Gallery,Sadhu Vasvani Chowk.

Music

Shefali Alvares & The Distil Souls will perform at Pinktober,Hard Rock Café on October 6 at 8.30 pm.

Electronica act Jalebee Cartel will perform at Area 51,Baner on October 7,9 pm onwards.

Theatre

Grips Theatre will present some of its play at Bal Shikshan Mandir,Kothrud from October 6 to October 9,at 7 pm.
