Get ready to experience the thrill of music as War of DJs has been organised today at the Krushnai Water Park. A mega DJ competition,the event has earlier witnessed tremendous response from DJs in the city during the preliminary rounds. Out of a total of 120 DJs,25 have been chosen for the final clash that will take place today. City’s top DJs such as DJ Vaggy,DJ Stash and DJ Uday will judge the show. “We are expecting a crowd of 7000 who will surely have a blast,” says one of the organisers of the event.

Classical canvass
The Sur Sadhna headed by Suparna Ghosh and her students will be celebrating the annual programme on May 2 at the Gandharva Mahavidalay Auditorium in the city. The event will showcase the performances of the Indian classical music exponents such as pandit Arun Kashalkar and pandit Vikas Kashalkar. The celebration will start with the performances of the students of the Sur Sadhana followed by the performance by the duo. The event will also felicitate the students of the academy for their outstanding keenness towards the Indian classical music. The musician duo will also be interacting with the students guiding them to create their own distinguished styles along with the improvisations in various intricacies of Indian classical music.
