While theatre lovers might always rue that the experience of watching a play is not interactive,the recently staged played- Murder on the Menu presented by Karla Singh surely had a unique concept to it as it not only shared the plot and dialogues but also the stage,literally with the viewers. The murder mystery that is set in a restaurant had the actors enter and exit the stage through the audience isles. It also saw the actors amking casual small talk with the audience members The cast included Adviat Hazarat,Anju Taraporevala,Darshita Shah,Dilnaz Irani,Farid Currim,Riyaaz Makaney,Shahvir Irani,Shahriyar Attai,Shivani Ajmera along with the director Karla Singh. The play was staged at Corinthians Club,on the evening of December 16.

French Concoctions
Continuing with the showcasing of the French culture for the city populace,the ‘Bonjour India’ festival that is going on,will now showcase a performance by the French American band,‘Morarity’ on December 22. The band,which specialises in performing across diverse genres of music such as Rock,Jazz and Folk,will be performing at the Ishanya Amphitheatre. The five-member ensemble comprises of drums,acoustic and electric guitars and the harmonica and features performers from Vietnam,Switzerland and Russia.
