Taste of the theatrical
While most children enjoy the benefits of learning to act in plays unhampered by any physical handicaps,the new acting workshop that is being conducted by the Swatantra Theatre Group aims to teach visually impaired girls of the Maharashtra Jagriti School for Blind Girls. The workshop will be held at the Jagriti School in Alandi and begins today and will go on till April 29 from 10 in the morning till 5 in the evening. It will feature 55 participants,and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Pune,Central Pune and the Innerwheel Club of Pune. The workshop will teach the participants techniques like introduction to drama,theatrical games,voice projection,story making,and improvisation.
