Security guard arrested for ‘molesting’ minor girl

The police said around 5.15 pm Thursday, the accused forcibly confined the girl in the lift of the building where he works as a security guard. He then took the girl to the terrace of the building where he allegedly molested her.

After learning about the incident, the girl’s mother went to the police station and lodged a complaint against the security guard.

The police have arrested the accused under Sections 354, 354 A, 341, and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and various Sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
