City-based VLife Sciences,a company engaged in providing software solutions for research and development work in various fields like life sciences,chemical and biotechnology,has awarded scientists for their outstanding work in the field of research. All these scientists had used VLifes software in their research work.
Dr Kishor Bhusari from Sharad Pawar College of Pharmacy and his team won the first prize while the second prize was bagged by Dr Sanjay Bari and his group from R C Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research,Shirpur. The third prize was jointly won Dr M S Bhatia and group from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy,Kolhapur,and Dr Kunal Roy and group from Jadavpur University,Kolkata.
A cash prize of Rs15,000,Rs10,000 and Rs 5,000 was given to the awardees on the 1st,2nd and 3rd positions along with certificates and mementos. The first and second prize winners were also given six months licence of VLifeMDS software,whereas the third prize winner was given three months licence of VLifeMDS software.
The award ceremony was held at Hyatt on Nagar Road recently. Dr K N Ganesh,Director,Indian Institute of Scientific Education and Research,was the chief guest for the function. Supreet Deshpande,CEO,VLife Sciences,Ajay Phatak,Head of Symphony Services and Dr Indira Ghosh,Dean of Jawaharlal Nehru University were also present at the ceremony.
