Sarkar wins Global invitational masters

Sandeep Sarkar,President & MD-Financial Market,Yes Bank won the inaugural Allcargo Global Invitational Masters 2009 by emerging at the top in the overall category of the one-day corporate event being played at the Oxford Golf & Country Club here on Sunday.

Sandeep finished with 71 points while Ricardo Basciano emerged as the runner-up with 73 points. As many as 72 top corporate heads vied for honours. Allcargo Global Logistics,who was recently awarded as the “Company of the year in Logistics Category”,played as wonderful hosts and joined a bandwagon of corporate sponsors in India for the first time.

Rahul Nigam of Epcot Travels with 73 points emerged as the winner in the 0-14 handicap category while Rahul Hattangdi,Head – Organisational Process Group,Mastek Ltd. emerged as the winner in the 15 & above category with 73 points as well. A Hole-in-one by Manish Aggarwal on hole no. 17 was the highlight of the day. Apart from the individual prizes,some interesting spot prizes like longest drive and closest to pin were also held.
