It’s regarded as one of the biggest rock fests of the world,and on Friday,the city will get a taste of the Woodstock Festival with the Woodstock Tribute organised at High Spirits. Vinay Lobo,who conceptualised the idea of a Woodstock tribute last year,says,My friend Pradeep Mathews and I originally came up with the idea of getting like-minded musicians together to play music from the Woodstock Festival of 69. We performed it for the first time last year in Mumbai and this year we are doing it in Pune. The event will see musicians Aditya Ashok on drums,Kenneth Rebello on bass,Jarvis Menesez on the keyboards,Vinay Lobo on guitars/vocals and Eden Shyodhi on vocals dishing out numbers by Carlos Santana,Jimi Hendrix,Arlo Guthrie,Janis Joplin,The Who and many more.
