Bharatnatyam dancer,Charulatha will make her debut performance at Tilak Smarak Mandir today. The debut dance is traditionally known as Arangetram,which literally means climbing a stage. It indicates the end of the Charulatha’s 11 years of training under Guru Smt Mythili Raghavan. While Guru Raghavan is credited with playing a key role in the renaissance of Bharatnatyam,Charulatha is currently a student at Ness Wadia College of Commerce. The performance will take place from 5.30 to 8.30 pm.
