The PMPML managing director Nitin Khade has reportedly been transferred, even though the PMPML administration has not receive any official letter to this effect till Saturday. It was also known that additional charge of Khade has been given to Ashish Sharma, the Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal commissioner.
Responding to this,a PMPML official said that they had not yet received any official copy of the transfer letter and that Khade attended office till Friday,as Saturday was off for government offices.
PCMC commissioner Asheesh Sharma said,I also heard that I have been given additional charge as the CMD of PMPML,but I have not received any papers to this effect so far.
However, local activists have opposed this move saying that in the last one year,PMPMLs CMD has been transferred thrice thus creating a negative impact on the work atmosphere.
Vivek Velankar and Jugal Rathi of PMP Pravasi Manch have alleged,Such transfers affect the morale of the workers, they said.
They have also demanded the state government to publish all relevant facts and reasons behind the transfer as required by Section 4 (1) (c) & 4 (1) (d) of RTI Act.
Section 4 of RTI deals with suo motu declarations made by all public authorities. Since this transfer is related to a number of citizens,it is mandatory for the state government to suo motu publish all relevant information related to this.
Two sub clauses in Section 4 of RTI publish all relevant facts while formulating important policies or announcing the decisions, which affect public and provide reasons for its administrative or quasi-judicial decisions to affected persons.
