Raj Thackeray’s driver coughs up fine for parking car in ‘No Parking Zone’

MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s driver Mahadev Gawade on Thursday paid Rs 100 as fine for parking Thackeray’s car in the ‘No Parking Zone’ on Fergusson College Road in front of Vaishali restaurant.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s driver Mahadev Gawade on Thursday paid Rs 100 as fine for parking Thackeray’s car in the ‘No Parking Zone’ on Fergusson College Road in front of Vaishali restaurant. Deputy Commissioner of police Vishwas Pandhare told Newsline,“Thackeray’s car was parked in the No Parking Zone. The driver on his part said he was not aware of the No Parking Zone. He has paid the fine at the office of Pune traffic control branch.”

Seven arrested for damaging property Bharati Vidyapeeth police have arrested seven persons for allegedly damaging four cars in Vrundavan Society in Katraj in the early hours of Thursday. The persons arrested were drunk and were caught creating a ruckus near the residential society,when some of the residents asked them to go away. Police said the youths then went on a rampage at 12.30 am and damaged cars of fours residents of Vrundavan society. The damages are said to be to the tune of Rs 50,000,police sources said. Police have identified the suspects as Rashid Lala Shaikh (19),Deepak Rathod (18),Avinash Shinde (18),Akshay Mhaske (18),Ajay Wadghare (20),Sanjay Wadkar (20 and Rounak Shah (19).
