Power cut in these areas of Pune today, know when supply will resume

Residents in the area, however, are upset with this outage in the hot summer month as they cannot operate fans or air-conditioners to get some respite from the heat. Day temperatures are nearing 40 degrees Celsius and power cuts are unimaginable this season, said a resident at Vitthalwadi.

The areas facing power outages are Narhe village, JSPMS college, Abhinav college, Zeal college, Prabhat Press, Pari company, Swami Narayan temple, PMC NDA water works, Tukai Nagar, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Bafna Auto, Trimurti Chowk, Abhiruchi subcentre, Sinhgad college, Wadgaon, Lagad mala, Dhayari industrial area, Suncity, Rajyog society, Wanjle bridge, Funtime society, Hingnegaon.

Several parts of the city, such as Koregaon Park and Magarpatta, reported temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of the possibility of heatstrokes and asked people to avoid stepping out of houses in the afternoon.
