PMC awaits developer & architect’s response to notice

To inquire into the allegation of negligence by the civic staff after a compound wall of a residential society collapsed near Dandekar Bridge killing three persons,Municipal Commissioner Mahesh Pathak is awaiting the response to the showcause notice served to the developer and architect of the property.

“Let the the developer,architect,and RCC consultant reply to showcause notice. The inquiry into the alleged negligence of the civic staff will be initiated after that,” said Pathak.

He said the portion of the wall that did not collapse was pulled down by the civic body and the developer would be asked to reconstruct the wall again.

Local BJP corporator Dhananjay Jadhav had demanded action against civic officers for negligence and also sought to book them for culpable homicide.
