PGTI golf: Sujjan Singh leads team to Pro-Am win

The Pro-Am event of the Aircel PGTI Players Championship presented by Poona Club witnessed amateur golfers from Pune tee off alongside some of India’s top professional golfers.

The Pro-Am event of the Aircel PGTI Players Championship presented by Poona Club witnessed amateur golfers from Pune tee off alongside some of India’s top professional golfers. The Pro-Am was played in the team scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green. After the best ball was chosen all other players were to place their ball within one score card length before continuing play.

PGTI member Sujjan Singh led his team to victory with a score of 53.4. Sujjan’s team comprised of amateurs Dolly Mangat,Rohan Dhole Patil and Suresh K Prasad.

PGTI member Rahil Gangjee helped his team finish second with a score of 54.1. Gangjee’s team comprised of amateurs Anwar Khan,Jaideep Barve and Rohit Parulekar.

PGTI member Harendra Gupta’s team comprising of amateurs K S Jamwal,Lucky Oberoi and Mahesh Kumar finished third with a score of 54.1. They lost out to Rahil Gangjee’s team on the basis of a countback.
