The ICDRO World Congress will see dentists from all over the world participate
Ten top international experts are visting Pune for an international conference on New Trends in Periodontics,Implantology,and Endodontics,to be held in Pimpri from January 11 to 14. The experts will be honoured for their rich contribution to the dental field.
The ICDRO World Congress is being organised by Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth in association with the Internation Clinical Dental Research Organisation. The ICDRO World Congress is being held in Pune for the first time, Vidyapeeths Vice-Chancellor Dr P N Razdan said.
Among the international dental faculty to be honoured include Dr P D Miller,Dr Ray Williams,Dr George Bruder and Dr Georgios Romanos from USA; Dr Bettina Basrani,Dr Anil Kishen and Dr Jocelyne Fiene from Canada; and Dr Manish Bose from UK. The international experts will be felicitated by Vidyapeeth Chancellor Dr P D Patil at the felicitation ceremony to be held at Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth at 9 am on January 14. The international experts would address various scientific sessions and later conduct various pre-conference courses at Dr D Y Patil Dental College and Hospital,said Dr Razdan.
An MoU pertaining to exchange of latest clinical dental research and technology will also be signed with various foreign universities participating in this congress. The Post Graduate students from different parts of the country and abroad will present papers at the session between January 11 and January 13,2011. The ICDRO world congress will be continued at Hotel Marriott,from January to 16 January 2011,said college dean Dr R S Dolas.
Among others,advisor Dr K B Powar,registrar Dr B S Mane,ICDRO World Congress Organising committee chairman Prof Dr Vijay Deshmukh and organizing secretary Dr Vaibhav Joshi were present at the press conference.
