In matches being played for the The Innocent Heroes Cup 2010 on Tuesday,Santulan were unfortunate to lose both their matches at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana, falling first to Surajya and then to Maher by 6 wickets and 61 runs respectively. Surajya lost their second match, however, when SVAJ beat them by 15 runs. Batting first,SVAJ amassed 158/1 in their allotted 20 overs. In response,Surajya could only manage 143 before losing all their wickets to concede the match.

Natha Sawant of SVAJ was adjudged the man of the match for his innings of 53 not out. Meanwhile,at the Deccan Gymkhana ground,Maharashtra Fellowship for the Deaf had mixed luck in their encounters. In the first match,Childrens Future India bundled them out for 111 in 16 overs,a target which they attained with ease. Amit Halande of Childrens Future India scored 21 runs and took 3 wickets,a performance which earned him the man-of-the-match award. Maharashtra Fellowship for the Deaf produced a much better batting performance in their second match, scoring 175 in 20 overs. In response, their opponents Epiphany School were all out for 160,giving them a 15-run victory. Epiphany could not win their other match against Sarvaseva Sangh either, losing by one wicket. After bowling the former out for a mere 92 runs, the latter lost wickets at regular intervals, but barely managed to scrape through, finishing at 93/9.

The matches are being played at the PYC as well as Deccan Gymkhana grounds. The Innocent Heroes Cup features NGOs from all over the city facing off against each other.
