Ahead of Mothers Day,wish your mother with books and thoughts at an event organised by author Sudha Menon today. Read from your favourite books featuring inspiring mother figures and talk about gripping maternal characters in films. You can also dedicate a story or a poem to your mother. The event will be held from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at La Terrazza,Hyatt Regency,Nagar Road.
Facing the Music
Songwriter Wednesday at SWIG Bar will see Rohit Vasudevan,guitarist of Pune-based band Highway 61,take to the stage. Vasudevan,who believes in celebrating life through music and words,will perform a few numbers from his solo project. The event will also see Keith and Sikander,the opening act for the evening,perform some of their songs. Influenced by artistes such as Alice in Chains,Andrei Segovia and Paco De Lucia,the duo is capable of creating music with brilliant melodies and harmonies. The event will be held today,9 pm onwards.
