Rally held
Students of the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Society (MCE) recently held a huge rally on the occasion of Hazarat Muhammad Paigambar Jayanti,to spread the educational thoughts of Prophet Paigambar. P A Inamdar,president,Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society,inaugurated the rally at Azam Campus. Students in Arabic costumes on eight camels,six horses,were the main point of attraction in rally. Students spread message of education (IQRA) by Prophet Muhammad Paigambar through slogans and banners. The three-kilometer long rally started from the Azam campus. It went on through Bhavani Peth,Nana Peth,Kasba Peth,Mominpura and then returned to Azam Campus.

Book on science launched
The book Science: A way to the heart of the Rugveda written by Dr Sharadchandra Ingle was recently launched at the hands of Vijay Bhatkar in the presence of Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil. Bhatkar said,“It is believed that Vedas are the source of all knowledge and this book has shown exactly that showing that the scientific knowledge forms the basis of the philosophy of the Rugveda.” Bhatkar stressed on the importance of integrating science with religion.Ingle also explained how it was important to undertake this research activity of working out the meanings of abstract Rug Vedic mantras. “A system has been developed on the basis of science and mathematics to unravel the true meanings of the various terms. This new light on the mantras explains the philosophy of the Rugveda scientific way. It shall also help remove false beliefs in society,” he said.
