MECC Alte Indias new factory at Talegaon Dhamdere was recently inaugurated by state industry minister Rajendra Darda,in the presence of other special guests Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil,MP,Shri Ujjwal Nikam,special public prosecutor and advocate Ashok Pawar,MLA.
Mecc Alte India is a joint venture between Co Mecc Fin SRL of Italy,the holding Company of theMecc Alte Group,and the Pune-based Veena Industries Ltd (Agarwal Group ). The new company will manufacture AC generators.
The facility,set up with an investment of Rs 50 crore,has been built on an area of 10 acres and has around 5000 sq m of covered space with room for further expansion.
Speaking at the inauguration,Darda,Patil and Pawar promised the new company all assistance from the state and Nikam extolled the friendship between India and Italy.
