The department of hotel managent at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth is organising a food festival — Snacky Mania,from february 10 at the Mukundnagar campus of the institute. Students will prepare scrupptious snacks and desserts like pizzas,grilled sandwiches,pastries,chaat,ice-creams and much more. Apart from honing the culnary skill,the event would also help students in developing their managerial skills,as the programme will be organised by them.

While the restuarnat Aqua flaunts a Wednesday Ladies’ night as a special happening,other restaurants of the same group too have a platterfull to offer. Exotica and Laguna,both city-based restaurants have set the mood right by offering a whole range of celebrations throughout the week. On Tuesday,both the restaurants have a Ghazal night and the evening will be complemented with a special kebeb menu. On Thursday a live band will maka the environ more lively,while on Friday sea food lovers can throng the restaurants to participate in the sea food night. “We started gahzal nights recently and plan to continue the same given the overwhelming response,” says Rehan Guha,marketing manager of the restaurants.
Growing up and being amongst the fruit is what makes the life juicier. And distinctively when you are to witness something like grand fest of fruits that has fancied the lady most. It’s strawberry treat at Hotel O,Koregaon Park,where a month-long strawberry festival kicked recently. Talking about the festival,hotel staff says,The festival offers a lot for strawberry lovers or evn for food aficandos. With 20,000-25,000 customers alreday a part of it,the festival promises more than a grand treat. Kitsch,the hotels restaurant has also brought some new food items on the fore,with starter like – malai murkh ,hilsa straw and stuffed fish . Adding new dimension to soup they have brought -spiced chicken and kotham mushroom. Now it’s experiment time for the denizens to go there and enjoy it.
