Mata Amritanandamayi to start campaign in city

Amma will reach the city in the evening. She will give darshan to each and every devotee. The darshans will continue till the wee hours of morning of Thursday. There will be two programmes at 11am and 6 pm on Thursday. Amma will be accompanied by many devotees from various nations,a release stated.

In order to spread the feeling of cleanliness,Amma will be handing over a handkerchief to each and every child coming for darshan. The Amala Bharatam Campaign was launched by Amma on her 57th birthday last year. While launching the project,she had announced that Mata Amritanandamayi Math was ready to take up the responsibility of constructing toilets and installing trash cans in government schools and along roads all over the country. For this,she had appealed to the state and central governments for cooperation.
