As the Maratha quota stir gains momentum, and the state government pushing for the completion of a survey of Maratha population and open category citizens in a short span, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will be doubling their manpower to conduct the survey.

“The number of civic staff on the survey list declared on November 11 are insufficient considering the work has an urgent deadline. We have declared a new list with additional staff,” said additional municipal commissioner Ravindra Binawade.
