Khandagale claims he is victim,was abused

Suspended vice-principal of SP College,Prof Subhash Khandagale — he was suspended on Thursday — rubbished allegations against him at a press conference here on Friday. He said he had not abused the principal but was himself threatened by the principal. He alleged that the principal had used abusive language against him.

“All these allegations are false and a smear campaign against me and some of my other colleagues who are all from backward castes. Principal Dilip Sheth has not just threatened me but also NGOs and other groups supporting me,” said Khandagale. Khandagale added that he,with the support of others,will raise the issue of an order given by the Scheduled Caste Commission for investigation of a harassment complaint filed by Saroj Hiremath,co-ordinator,BBA department.

“The commission had ordered that the college carry out an investigation on the matter,but no action has been initiated ny the authorities,” he said.
