Jeweller robbed at gunpoint

Two unidentified persons allegedly robbed a jewellery shop and made away with gold worth Rs 50 lakh at gunpoint from D B Jewellers,in Pimpri on Saturday. Sandip Laxmikant Jain,the owner,lodged a complaint at Pimpri police station. According to the complaint,two persons posing as customers entered the shop around 2 pm when he was alone,pointed a gun at Jain and asked him to keep the jewellery in a bag they were carrying. They made Jain inhale chloroform and locked him inside the shop. A team of Pimpri police and crime branch are searching for the robbers.
