Inter-Pharma Cup: Gosammer beats RD College

Gosammer defeated RD College of Pharmacy (RDCOP) by eight wickets in the Licel T20 Inter-Pharma Cup at the Katariya School Cricket Ground on Friday. Gosammer won the toss and put the opposition in to bat. On a pitch that favoured the bowlers,RDCOP managed to put up a decent total of 102 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sagar Kadam top-scored with a quickfire 25. For Gosammer,Upendra Dobhale and Somnath Shinde did most of the damage and picked up two wickets each. Gosammer achieved their target with ease,scoring 103 runs for the loss of two wickets in just 11 overs. Prasad Kunthe was the star performer as he scored an unbeaten 60 runs in 35 balls,which included 9 fours and one six. Sudheer Ray supported him well a run-a-ball 20. The second wicket partnership between Kunthe and Ray,which constituted of 67 runs of just 45 balls was key in securing victory for Gosammer.
