In love with music

The biggest question faced by a lot of mankind is who are we and where have we come from. Spirituality helps one attain all these answers and leads one onto the right path. The city saw the presence of bhajan maestro Anup Jalota as chief guest for the release of one such book. Titled The Magic of Awakening,it guides readers onto the path which helps one connect with God and has been released in nine other languages,including Hindi,Marathi,Gujarati,Malayalam,Kannada,Punjabi,Bengali and Telugu.

The Hindi version of the book is called Nishabd Samvaad ka Jaadu. The book’s author Tejguru Sirshree Parkhi claims to provide solutions to 111 worries faced by humans. Tejguru Sirshree undertook a long contemplation on the mystery of life till his quest ended in enlightenment and he’s busy spreading this knowledge. On the occasion,Anup Jalota enthralled the audiences with some of his popular bhajans like Aisi lagi lagan and Tej mangal ho,whose sensible poetry essays beautiful human relationships with God. The melodious music of Jalota was accompanied by humorous stories which came out as the bhajans progressed.

“Instead of fearing God,one must build a relationship with him and win God’s love. The first step towards this is by loving our near and dear ones,” said Jalota. Giving an example of the role of positivity in establishing love for God,Jalota said,“I know only two things in life – a little music and a lot of love. God showers back his love upon me and my music gets more appreciation.”
