In contrast to their the pre-wedding functions and the temple wedding,the Deols chose an understated look for the reception on Saturday night at Intercontinental – The Lalit in Andheri. With white as theme,the venue was decorated in crystals and white roses. Esha Deol’s outfit in pink and silver lehenga while her businessman husband Bharat Takhtani wore a tuxedo. Hema Malini,looking elegant in an off-white sari with a flower tucked behind her ear,was accompanied by Dharmendra and the couple received all guests personally. The evening began with some eminent politicians,such as Raj Thackeray,Sushma Swaraj,LK Advani and Suresh Kalmadi,arriving first. Bollywood celebrities followed — Kajol arrived with Tanuja and Tanisha,Rekha,Vidya Balan,Tabu,Sushmita Sen and Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar. Salman Khan made an appearance too.
