Doc bags prize for paper on cancer
City doctor Rachita Munjal has won the first prize for a paper presentation on Grab the Crab — Cervical Cancer Screening” done under the guidance of Dr. Hemant Deshpande,professor Dr D. Y. Patil Medical College,Pimpri. She presented her papers at the All India Obstetrics and Gynaecology Conference 2010 organised by Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of India (FOGSI) at Guwahati,Assam recently. More than 6000 delegates from India and abrode attended the conference. Dr Hemant Deshpande gave a guest lecture on Stitch in Time on Cervical Encirclage for second trimester recurrent abortion. Dr B S Mane,registrar,Dr D Y Patil University,Pimpri,and Dr Amarjit Singh,dean,Dr D Y Patil Medical College,Pimpri,congratulated the team for the achievement.
